Hi my name is Judith and I am delighted to be the new owner of Kidstravel2 and The Happy Skylark.
As a family we are all keen travellers something stemming from having lived abroad for many years and according to my husband and family I have always been passionate about luggage, constantly ‘needing’ to buy new pieces!
We are currently living in Bath having moved back to the UK in 2008 following time spent in Hong Kong, Denmark and latterly Vienna.
Although my children are older now, Sam 23, Jessica 21 and Mitch 17, I have had lots of experience of travelling in all manner of ways with the kids, often on my own and only wish some of the items we sell were available when they were little.
As a family we still try and go away all together once a year something we all really enjoy- well that’s what the kids tell us!!
We love activity holidays and are all keen skiers although Mark and I are now the slow coaches!!
Because of where we have lived we have been privileged to travel extensively and visit many beautiful places from New Zealand and Australia to some wonderful places across Europe and Asia.Choosing a favourite destination would be really hard but Egypt and the Pyramids feature as one of the best along with a family weekend in Rome- one of my favourite cities.
As with everyone we have some memorable stories of disasters we have experienced- the worst being in Paris where in an attempt to save money on accommodation I booked an hostel which looked great on the pictures but was so bad we moved out after one night!! S The children have never forgotten it and even now they always wonder whether Mum has ‘done a Paris!’

Holidays this year will be in England so here’s hoping this beautiful weather continues.
